Letter	The Great Bay Estuary is one of New Hampshire's most unique waterways, known both as a recreational hotspot and a habitat for hundreds of species of wildlife. However, with the Estuary located in one of the fastest growing regions in New Hampshire, the wetlands that feed and clean this great waterway are quickly disappearing. In February 2008, the New Hampshire Senate voted to sideline legislation (SB 435) that would have helped protect the Great Bay Estuary from out-of-control development. I hope that in the future you will work for strong protections for Great Bay and its wetlands. The Great Bay Estuary is a New Hampshire treasure that deserves to be protected for New Hampshire's future generations.
