Clean Cars Petition to Gov. Lynch

Global warming and air pollution are still major problems in New Hampshire, and we all need to our part to solve them. With transportation rersponsible for 40 percent of the state's global warming emissions, and more cars on the road each year, putting cleaner cars on the roads in New Hampshire is a critical first step toward cutting our global warming pollution. Please sign our petition calling on Gov. Lynch to adopt the Clean Cars Program in New Hampshire.

Dear Gov. Lynch,

We can do our part to cut global warming pollution in New Hampshire, and one important step is putting cleaner cars on our roads. I want to urge you to adopt the Clean Cars Program for New Hampshire.

Transportation is responsible for 40 percent of our state's global warming pollution. But cleaner, efficient vehicle technology is already available.

With the Clean Cars Program, we'd set strong standards to limit pollution from vehicles and make more advanced-technology cars, such as hybrids and electric cars, available to New Hampshire drivers. Please bring the Clean Cars Program to the Granite State.
